  • Overview

    RGS is seeking a Mid-level SharePoint Developer to manage the day to day SharePoint environment for a large Federal client. This includes helping the client transition from an on-premises environment to a cloud environment, monitoring the day to day health of the SharePoint environment, working closely with other members of the Infrastructure team to provide a stable environment for our customer.


    • Provide Tier 2 or 3 level support for an operational environment
    • Provide proficient knowledge of SharePoint capabilities (SP 2013, and 2016) to include custom development using C# .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio
    • Design SharePoint architecture, business processes, and sites/subsites/pages to support business needs.
    • Provide for the daily/routine operations and maintenance of SharePoint Servers
    • Oversee evaluation and implementation of patches and updates
    • Participate in Agile Scrum, Scaled agile framework (SAFe) and Kanban

    Provide enterprise tools administration to include:

    • Manage SharePoint user groups and access rights
    • Create SharePoint sites and lists
    • Support upgrades and other maintenance of the SharePoint infrastructure (primarily Friday evening and Saturday during the day)
    • Identify areas where the program can make more effective use of SharePoint to serve as backup Enterprise Tools administrator
    • Provide SharePoint custom development and implementation support

    Assist with moving an on-premises environment to a secure cloud environment 



    • Bachelor’s Degree.

    Certification: Optional  Microsoft Certifications include: MCSA Server 2012; MTA IT; MCSA Server 2016; MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure. Also preference for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification.



    • Active Top Secret Clearance, SSBI (Single Scope Background Investigation)
