RGS, a USfalcon company, has a current need for an experienced Employee and Labor Relations (ER/LR) Specialist to support a Federal government customer in the Washington DC area. This position will provide various support to federal ER/LR Specialists ranging from research to policy advice and interpretation to performance of Title V investigations. Work is to be performed on site in Washington, DC with potential for some telework. Up to 25% travel may be required.
Knowledge of Title V laws and regulations
Knowledge of Douglas Factors
Familiar with principles of progressive discipline
Ability to research case law on Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and Comptroller General decisions
Interpret policy and provide senior-level advisory service
Draft disciplinary proposal letters (PIPS, reprimands, suspensions, demotions, and removal) citing charges and supporting justifications
Perform Title V investigations
Handle employee misconduct and disciplinary actions, grievances, and other disputes
EEO/Reasonable accommodation experience preferred
Labor relations experience preferred
Strong written communication skills required
Ability to research
Familiar with CyberFeds
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in Employee and Labor Relations.
