Overview: RGS is seeking a Change Management Consultant to support the National Background Investigations Bureau (NBIB).
As of October 1, 2016, the NBIB was established as the primary service provider of government-wide background investigations for the Federal Government with the mission of delivering efficient and effective background investigations to ensure the integrity and trustworthiness of the Federal workforce. NBIB has the responsibility of conducting background investigations for over 100 Federal agencies – approximately 95 percent of the total background investigations government-wide. In addition, the NBIB provides investigative systems training and conducts oversight evaluations of other agencies to review compliance with Federal security regulations. While semi-autonomous, NBIB is still a component of OPM. The Department of Defense assumes the responsibility for the security, and operation of the supporting IT systems and data for background investigations. RGS is looking to hire a change management and communication professional to support the existing team with activities associated with the responsibilities below.
Assist with Change Management Activities for NBIB. The candidate will support a variety of change management initiatives aimed at continuing to push NBIB forward in their new mission. Activities may include but are not limited to:
