    RGS, a USfalcon company is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist to provide communications support for Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS) Naval Enterprise Networks (PMW-205), Acquisitions Corporate Operations

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Lead and support analysis of intricate business problems and provide recommendations to Management and/or Government clients that will be influential in cost savings and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Plan, organize, and disseminate timely and accurate information and promote awareness of operations, projects, events  and issues to key audiences as identified in communications plans.
    • Collaborate with other businesses (i.e. - Hewitt Packard Enterprise) and/or organizations and foster partnerships to achieve the communications goals and objectives.
    • Advise on opportunities to consistently deliver key messages and maximize the use of communications methods, including written and electronic tools.
    • Prepare and implement communication strategies directed to internal audiences in support of PEO-EIS and/or Program Office strategic goals and objectives.
    • As directed by PEO-EIS and/or Program Office PAO, create and edit copy for several internal communication vehicles to ensure that written communication throughout the PEO or program is clear, accurate and compelling.
    • Assist in the preparation of internal communication strategies and plans that support Program Office goals and objectives.
    • Employ internal communications tools and techniques that support PEO-EIS/Program Office goals and objectives and facilitate broad internal communications to employees that are situated in multiple geographic locations.
    • Manage and coordinate ongoing production of PEO-EIS and/or Program Office Web-based and/or traditional publications, recommend editorial policies and guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
    • Research, write and edit articles highlighting the programs and services of interest to the internal audience.
    • Conduct interviews at all levels of the organization to obtain information used as the basis for articles of interest.
    • Generate internal interest articles for publication that support strategic communication goals and objectives.
    • Train others in media relations and communications planning, strategies and tactics.
    • Developing of branding initiatives, internal communications and external media relations.
    • Driving corporate strategy and message development, pitch and announcement strategies.
    • Disseminating internal publications, such as newsletters, releases, e-mail announcements, planned publications, online, intranet, special projects and assignments.
    • Mentor communication team members during implementation of new communication strategies within the agency to ensure overall success.
    • Assist in the determination of communication strategy and execute programs to deliver communication objectives
    • Facilitate and manage communication mediums to large audiences at events, such as all hands meetings and webinars.
    • Provide guidance to the Department of the Navy senior leadership to make decisions  impacting the Navy Marine Corps Intranet.

    Qualifications

     

    Required Skills:

    • 1-3 years of client facing consultant experience in support of Acquisition Program Office
    • Solid written and verbal communications skills with ability to interface at all levels of government personnel, DoD Contractors and Vendors
    • Possess exceptional MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel skills
    • Experience with Adobe software such as Photoshop, illustrator, After Effects and Premiere, a strong plus
    • Video production experience such as DSLR camera operation, lighting audio recording, VFX creation and video and photo editing, a strong plus
    • Ability to work in high-pressure environment
    • Critical Thinker, Problem Solver, and Results-Oriented

    Desired Skills: U.S. Navy experience preferred

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree

     

    Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
